2024 Regular Activities:

Our 2024 regular weekly activities are similar to 2023.  See: Link
Notable changes:

  • Various regular game times adjusted
  • Jack Attack bowls game moved to Wednesday evening
  • ‘Drop-in’ bowls game moved to Saturday AM
  • New tag draw bowls game added Sunday morning
  • Croquet game added on Tuesday AM
  • Saturday Croquet moved to Sunday afternoon

NOTE:
For the first couple of weeks during Learn to bowl/croquet classes in late May, some regular games are cancelled or shifted to another time.  See Club Calendar link below.

2024 Regular Activities:

MLBC Annual Meeting:   May 9th, 7 PM

  • General information about this season, Email voting to accept 2022 financials

2024 Learn to Bowl & Learn to Croquet:    May 21 – May 31
(See the ‘Learn to Bowl’ or ‘Croquet’ website main menu item above for details)

  • $60 for lesson sessions.  Includes a 1 month membership!

Bowls ‘Tag Draws’:  Weekly Summary
 –  Put in your name tag.  We’ll form teams each time.

  • Mornings: Sunday to Tuesday, Thursday to Saturday
  • Afternoons:  Wednesday & Thursday
  • Evenings 7 pm:  Wednesday (More casual ‘Jack Attack’ format), Friday (‘Party’ style)

Golf Croquet:
 – Ongoing sessions:  Monday afternoon (Open), Tuesday & Wednesday morning (different times), Thursday evening (League / Sponsor: McMasters Fine Foods) & Sunday afternoon – with a short clinic as needed, followed by a game
 – Croquet players must be either 1 month or full season members (who also have full access to lawn bowling).  See Membership: LINK

MLBC Pairs Bowls League – Sponsor – Cottage Winery:

  • Play Tuesday evening 7 pm for 10 weeks, starting June 25th
  • For MLBC members only, with set teams playing standard pairs games.

‘Jack Attack’ Bowls Games

  • Play Wednesday evenings at 7 pm (new)
  • A casual, fun format (e.g. no Skips, team players bowl in any order, …)
